This is my year-end wrap up, my Christmahanukkwanzifestivus edition Mystery Train. I'll be playing a mix of my favorite covers and original songs from 2016, as well as tributes to some of the musical stars we lost this past year. Definitely going to mix in David Bowie, Prince, Merle Haggard, Leon Russell, Sharon Jones, Leonard Cohen and Maurice White with old favorites with 2016 releases -- Paul Simon, Pixies, Radiohead -- and newer artists such as Mitski and the Seratones. Cool mix? I think so.

DJ Kibret Neguse on the air broadcasting from the original studios of WUSB 90.1 FM for perhaps the final show before moving to the new facility! He is joined in the studio by new Long Island reggae artist Jimmy Kerwick Tafari to premiere his new song "I Must Be Strong", produced by Sir Raf. Thanks to Brother Zion for the introduction. The "Blazing Hot" track of the night belongs to Jemere Morgan with "Good Old Roots".
