Dr. Deborah Nagle, chief of colon and rectal surgery at Stony Brook Cancer Center, discusses screening, diagnosis and advanced treatment options for colon and rectal cancer — which is in the top five cancer-related cause of death in the US. Drs. Olga Aroniadis, Stony Brook's division chief of gastroenterology and hepatology, hematologist oncologist Julie Gemmill, and radiation oncologist Alex Stessin join the conversation.

Then, Dr. Michael Hung, a surgeon that specializes in the management of urologic cancers, speaks with oncologists Drs. Judy Huang and Joanne Wu about the prevalence of prostate cancer, which 1-in-8 men face in their lifetime. This conversation is from November 2025.
