Seasonal Grateful Dead Catacomb This Sunday 12:00-5:00am
(Saturday night@midnight)
As the Summer Solstice arrives with the yearly shortest night of darkness we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s June 1976 tour with a five hour edition of Melting World.
After a period of semi inactivity and reset the band altered their sound and touring system by playing multiple theater dates in six cities across the US.
Drummer Mickey Hart rejoined the band, new tunes were introduced, tempos increased while the jamming became more concise.
Join us for three magnificent set segments from Boston Music Hall June 9,10,11 and music from adjacent jam friendly bands in this special show as we celebrate fathers, grandfathers and the Grateful Dead.
