A special edition of the Melting World
On May 14, 2000 at the Trianon Theater in Paris, France for the first and only time the French band Magma led by composer and drummer Christian Vander performed their trilogy “Theusz Hamtaahk” in its entirety for the band’s 30th anniversary. Magma are the most eccentric of progressive bands with guitar, bass, two keyboards players and
eight vocalists known as “chanters” led by the songwriting and drumming of Vander. He constructed the phonetic language Kobïan to fulfill his vision of a new style of operatic rock music called “Zuehl”.
