Dana Golden, graduate research assistant in the Graduate School at Stony Brook University, explains why Suffolk County electricity averages much higher than the national average and how prices are set through generators, transmission constraints, and utilities. Then, meet Sophia Camularie, a biology major, reading her poem "I can hear the birds and trees". Sophia's poetry was featured in a book, "Nature State of Mind", including 13 SUNY schools and 70 student artists and writers across New York State. C4E Presents is a production of Stony Brook’s Collaborative for the Earth. Host: Heather Lynch |
