Dilip Gersappe, a professor in the  Department of Material Science and Chemical Engineering at Stony Brook University, explores the engineering of climate resilience into nature's original building material: soil. Then, Guanyu Huang, assistant professor in the Program in Public Health and the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, explains the complex relationship between climate change and air pollution, and how tracking pollutants can influence environmental justice areas.
