Radio history is made as Rockin' Iration becomes the first music program to air in the new WUSB studio facility! DJ's Kibret Neguse and the Ital Dr. host the show featuring new and classic reggae music, and a live on-air interview from Kingston with Jamaican songstress Sycorah. Her single, "Skin" is gaining momentum worldwide, and she promises to release her first EP this year. The "Blazing Hot" track of the night is the much anticipated "Rasta Nuh Gangsta" from Samory-I and produced by Rory Stone Love for Black Dub.

Reggae music is a weapon against injustice. On this historic day in US politricks, DJ Kibret Neguse kicks off the show armed with musical ammunition to bring about awareness. The "Blazin' Hot " track of the night goes to Pentateuch Movement with their recent release "Crime". The most requested reggae song by the WUSB listeners is Sycorah's first release "Skin", a beautiful and sensual song receiving a lot of airplay on the station.

He is joined in the studio by new Long Island reggae artist Jimmy Kerwick Tafari to premiere his new song "I Must Be Strong", produced by Sir Raf. Thanks to Brother Zion for the introduction. Reggae music on the aiwaves is a Friday night tradition at WUSB! DJ Kibret Neguse hosts tonight's show and introduces the world to new artists and songs from Jamaica and around the world. Tonight's "Blazing Hot Track of the Week" is from Tiken Jah Fakoly feat. Ken Boothe with an amazing version of "Is It Because I'm Black". So many new artistes and songs are featured, and Kibret had a tough time choosing the standout song.
