GLOW Director Gabriel Bauer Talks Irene Staub on Tom Needham’s SOUNDS OF FILM

Gabriel Bauer’s newest film GLOW is about Swiss "It Girl" Irene Staub, the fierce, feminist, fashion icon, punk singer, and actor who charmed everyone from Catherine Deneuve to Felllini, David Bowie and Mick Jagger. She was also a LGBTQ cult figure who starred in Ulrike Ottinger's 1977 film Madame X, An Absolute Ruler. The program airs July 6 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. |
