Tune into a special edition of the Sounds of Film this Thursday evening at 8 P.M.for an exclusive interview with Focus Features' Kill the Messenger's director, Michael Cuesta. Host, Tom Needham, will be speaking with Michael about his new film about the controversial journalist, Gary Webb, who reported about the CIA's role in cocaine trafficking.
The show will also feature a special interview with Antonio Sanchez, drummer and music composer of the critically-acclaimed film Birdman starring Michael Keaton.
The Sounds of Film is the nation's longest-running film-themed radio show. For over 26 years, the show has featured a unique mix of film music, news and interviews. Recent guests include Billy Joel, Big Daddy Kane, Dionne Warwick, Peter Fonda, Jesse Ventura, Academy Award Winner Barbara Kopple and Red Hot Chili Pepper's Cliff Martinez.
