20th Annual Salsathon on WUSB! Oct 17-19

The 20th annual Salsathon (first salsathon was 1995) will take place from 1PM on Friday, October 17th to 11:59PM on Sunday October 19th.

We will have our full complement of widely renowned non commercial radio producers as well as collectors, critics, and critical thinkers as well as a WUSB contingent and local community participation.

We are also planning our annual Live segment on ONDA NUEVA 3PM Saturday Oct 18th.

WUSB announces 2014-15 #Seawolves Basketball Schedule

WUSB has announced it's 2014-15 Basketball Schedule . The longtime Sports Broadcast HOME of Stony Brook University will broadcast many Stony Brook Men's and Women's Basketball games throughout the season

The #Seawolves will open the brand-new Stony Brook Arena on the weekend of November 14-15 and WUSB will broadcast the men's game against Columbia on Friday and the women's game against Saint Peter's on Saturday

Longtime WUSB broadcasters and Stony Brook alums Jeff Bernstein and Curt Hylton will once again cover the #Seawolves throughout the season, with newcomer Joe Soccoa.


Tune in at 6:45 PM on Saturday, October 11 as the Seawolves host the University of Maine Black Bears at Lavalle Stadium.

Veteran WUSB Broadcasters and #Seawolves alum Jeffrey Bernstein '92 will handle the Play-By-Play duties, along with Joe Soccoa and Curt Hylton as analyst
